Is the vehicle damage consistent with the scenario presented? Was a vehicle contacted by another vehicle or did the vehicle run off the road and hit something? If your claim has no police report, unclear collision scenario, inconsistent damage, wildly different interpretations from alleged occupants, these are potential indicators of a fraudulent claim. In this webinar, Dr. Funk and Mr. Neal will take you step by step through the process of investigating claims and determining whether or not the physical evidence is consistent with the events presented. They will present a systematic approach to investigating claims and how they can help with an investigation regardless of whether the incident occurred yesterday or two years ago. They will cover vehicle inspections, including Event Data Recorders (“Black Box”), paint samples, questions to ask the involved parties, and what can be achieved when the vehicle is repaired or no longer available for inspection. Dr. Funk and Mr. Neal will show you how to effectively communicate engineering analyses to a jury in a simple manner with numerous examples of cases that went to verdict. Attorneys John Hohmeier and Michael O’Malley, of Scarfone & Geen, PC, will provide a real-world perspective on how these technics and the Accident Damage Analysis can be used to successfully defend your case.
