The course provides practical guidance on managing the key sources of exposure in an accounting practice, from the selection of a client base to the collection of engagement fees Specific attention is paid to empowering firms to take control of the risks inherent in their practices.

·        the risk of new engagements and disengagements

·        effective means of safely collecting fees, without the risk of generating a client dissatisfaction dispute

·        the important components of a file retention policy, and how to establish a policy to fit your firm’s needs
