Attorney Malpractice—Attorney Wins Case Gets Suspended for Obscenity and Professional Misconduct

Attorney Alison Motta was suspended for stated in one ruling that she did not like that this was ‘F—- B—-‘ and rolling her eyes.  This was one of many disruptive acts that she committed during in the trail of US v Redwood.  The Executive Committee of the US District Court Illinois Northern District suspended Attorney Motta from the Federal Bar for 90 days and she is also not able to be lead counsel on any Federal case for 1 year.  She may also face further actions against her at the state level, as the order was forwarded to the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commissions (ARDC) which could levy further punishment.

Even though she won the case for Client Redwood, she and co-counsel J Clifford Greene, were escorted away by US Marshals and issued civil citations for taking photos in the courtroom in violation of long-standing court rules.
